Ministry Objectives Of Equipping The Saints

Equipping The Saints is a discipleship ministry. Its mission is to equip people, who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, to be better able to witness to unbelievers so that they can be led to having a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This equipping ministry will then equip these new believers to also become highly knowledgeable disciples of Christ, who can also lead unbelievers to Christ. Our ministry is driven by four key passages of scripture: Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 25:40; Acts 1:8 and Ephesians 4:12. In order for us to strengthen disciples in their individual ministries, we will also make them sensitive to the need to Worship God, as He desires, in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 is our focal point of teaching in that respect. For us to worship “in spirit and truth” can be said as being, “all of us for all of Him.” We realize that not all believers are seminary or bible college trained. It is our desire that believers in Christ will know that God has a special equipping for them, which is affirmed by the words of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And, knowing that through the leading of the Holy Spirit, all believers can have the spiritual degree which is awarded per 2 Timothy 2:15, “AUG”; Study to shew thyself “Approved Unto God,” We desire to impart the truth of Philippians 3:10 on the minds of believers, of total intimacy with Jesus, “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” In good times or in bad times, there is a need for us to be intimate with Jesus. May we be in effectual, fervent prayer (James 5:16) for such a relationship with our Savior.
