Freedom Of Worship? “Told You So!”

15 So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:15-17)

Consider the following report of the Department Of Homeland Security changing the words, “Freedom Of Religion,” to “Freedom Of Worship.” The Director Of The Director Of Homeland Security is under the direction supervision of the President of The United States. The United States Constitution clearly states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

Previous posts in this blog have addressed this issue. On May 29, 2015, the situation of democrat party leaders changing the words, “Freedom Of Religion” to “Freedom Of Worship,” was discussed as follows:

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Bible
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”

Our nation is quickly approaching a point in its history where all of our freedoms and liberties will be determined by a godless society. We must elect to office those candidates who unashamedly admit to being believers of Christ and supporters of the teachings of the Bible. The democrat lady of the left has used the term, “freedom of worship.” That term is very incorrect. The correct constitutional guarantee is “freedom of religion.” Freedom of worship relates to going into a building. Freedom of Religion relates to our being able to go outside of that building and practice what we learned inside of the building. Our nation’s leader also used the same words as the lady of the left; with both of them making those statements during a short period of time. We must elect to public office those people who will not defy the Words of God. If Christians do not get out and vote in the upcoming presidential and congressional elections, we may lose our constitutionally guaranteed freedom of religion. Consider the following media reports that relate to “Freedom Of Worship” as opposed to “Freedom Of Religion.”

By Jonathan Imbody – – Monday, January 28, 2013
President Obama marked Religious Freedom Day earlier this month by framing religious liberty as “the freedom to worship as we choose.” If the president had not been restricting and attacking religious freedom so egregiously, he might merit a pass for using “freedom to worship” as poor shorthand for religious liberty.

The First Amendment of our Constitution actually reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” The constitutionally guaranteed free exercise of religion in America extends well beyond the freedom to worship. It includes the freedom to live out our conscientiously held beliefs.

Freedom of Worship vs. Freedom of Religion
Paul Moses February 22, 2012 – 10:29pm
save_freedom_worship-43-NRThere is much ado lately about the few times in the past three years when President Obama or Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used the phrase “freedom of worship” rather than “freedom of religion.” The term was good enough for FDR to include in his Four Freedoms in a speech before Congress on January 6, 1941 – “the freedom of every person to worship God in his own way – anywhere in the world,” as he wrote it himself. The same term is now Exhibit A for those prosecuting the charge that the Obama administration is set on subverting the freedom of religion. The case was made in 2010 at First Things:

Recently, both President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been caught using the phrase freedom of worship in prominent speeches, rather than the freedom of religion the President called for in Cairo. If the swap-out occurred only once or twice, one might appropriately conclude it was merely a rhetorical accident. However, both the President and his Secretary of State have now replaced freedom of religion with freedom of worship too many times to seem inadvertent.

The leader of our country, who is also the leader of the democrat party, the former secretary of state, who is a presidential “wanna be,” and the Department of Homeland Security, which is directly subordinate to our nation’s leader, have been very clear in the way that they have chosen words that are in direct opposition to the words of our constitution, and thereby limit the rights that accompany worship. A free church must be free to express its beliefs outside of the building where it meets. It appears that the democrat party would like for churches to assemble inside of buildings, “called churches,” (the people are the church), and put on flashy choir robes, and sing and sway, and shout and raise their hands, and run all around the inside of the building. But, that is where the freedom appears to end, per the leadership of the democrat party. Consider the words of Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla, as follows:

“The freedom of religion is much more than just the freedom of worship. Worship confines you to a location,” the senator explained. “Freedom of religion is the right to exercise your religious beliefs — it is the ability for Americans to live out their faith or to choose to have no faith.”

The following link has information that should have every Christian and Jew very leery of voting for any democrat. This blog has other posts that relate to ungodly positions that the democrat party has taken, such as “abortion on demand and same-sex marriage.” It is beyond my ability to understand how, or why, any Christian or Jew would vote for “any” democrat candidate. I am not promoting any other party’s candidates. I am just saying that the words of democrat leaders, as well as the words that are written in their party platform, show a hostility to God’s Holy Word. If God’s people continue to vote for candidates of a party that shows such lack of respect for our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we will eventually have a nation that will legislate a total lack of expression of religion, and in time, an assault on the assembly of Christians and Jews, as Christians and Jews. Nobody ever thought that Nazi Germany would persecute that nation’s Jews to the degree that it did. The church of Germany turned a blind eye and supported the leader of the Nazi party, Adolph Hitler. As a result, six million Jews were exterminated by the Germans of the Nazi party, which was a political party. Our nation is at a crossroad of freedom, not only of freedom of religion. Voters who know the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob need to get serious in the upcoming elections and vote for candidates who affirm and demonstrate their support of our constitution, untarnished, and their humbling of themselves to God, as is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Consider the following article that describes the Nazi Party, of which Adolph Hitler was its leader. Notice the terms that may be present in our nation today.

Under the leadership of Adolf Hitler (1889-1945), the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, or Nazi Party, grew into a mass movement and ruled Germany through totalitarian means from 1933 to 1945. Founded in 1919 as the German Workers’ Party, the group promoted German pride and anti-Semitism, and expressed dissatisfaction with the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, the 1919 peace settlement that ended World War I (1914-1918) and required Germany to make numerous concessions and reparations. Hitler joined the party the year it was founded and became its leader in 1921. In 1933, he became chancellor of Germany and his Nazi government soon assumed dictatorial powers. After Germany’s defeat in World War II (1939-45), the Nazi Party was outlawed and many of its top officials were convicted of war crimes related to the murder of some 6 million European Jews during the Nazis’ reign.

Consider the following article, as it relates to the attack on our constitution and the “freedom of religion.”

Senator Rebukes DHS for Suggesting Freedom of Religion Is Only Freedom to Worship

Christians need to consider the words of Romans 1:15-17 very carefully, and vote for a party, and candidates, who will not make the preaching of the gospel of Christ difficult, or in violation of the law.

15 So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Jews should remember the words of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, and vote for a party, and candidates, who will not make the teaching of G-d’s Holy Word difficult, or in violation of the law.

4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

A final thought: Do you think that the concerns of this post are “far-fetched?” Don’t fool yourself. Will America’s Christians and Jews be ashamed to stand up and affirm their belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and act out their beliefs as being children of God? Or, will we stand tall, and hold tightly to the rights that have been guaranteed to us by our nation’s constitution? We really need to get serious and “vote righteousness!” The democrat party is far from that standard.
