We live in very perilous times. Young people, “red and yellow, black and white,” are fleeing our country to go to Syria to join ISIS, and come back to our blessed land to kill our people and take away the religious and political freedoms that most of us have come to know and love as being our God-given rights. As in previous times of threats to our nation’s freedom, the men and women of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, active duty, reserve, and national guard, have fought and protected our nation. On this Veterans’ Day, let us not forget to thank a military veteran, or someone who is serving our nation today, for all that they have done to protect our wonderful nation. The United States is a great country because it is a good country. If we ever stop being a good country, we will no longer be a great country. Take a few minutes to watch the videos that follow. They tell us some things about our country that many in our nation seem to have forgotten. The starting and finishing videos will be similar, but with a bit of a twist. And, yes, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Amen.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”
